The Dance Community

           Dancer has tried to anticipate your needs for the back to school buying season.  We have looked at our prior year sales reports and have ordered lots of things like short sleeve black leotards and suntan tights because those are items that many dance classes use. 

             In order to serve you better we plan to be open additional hours during the back to school season.  This will provide more convenient shopping hours during this busy time of year. 

We have contacted our local dance studios and are making sure that the required uniform items are in stock where we can.  Sometimes a studio requires an item from a manufacturer that we do not carry.  If that is the case we try to stock a suitable substitute if we can.

             For certain studios we stock special colors or styles that we would not ordinarily order so that we can serve the buyer better.  If your studio has special requirements that we do not know about, please contact us so that we will be able to provide the needed items.

             Our embroidery machine gives us the capability to personalize items such as leotards, bags and even ballet or jazz shoes.  If you would like your name, or studio logo, on certain items we may be able to take care of it.  If you have great numbers of items to be done we have contacts at a larger firm for a faster delivery.

             We hope you have had a pleasant summer and we look forward to seeing you in the store often.

DANCER was delighted to be able to present Amaya from Albuquerque New Mexico as the guest teacher and performer during our end of July belly dance workshop and dinner show.

 

Amaya, is a well known teacher and performer, travels extensively.  She has produced a number of well received video tapes and DVD. Contributes articles on Belly Dance to various publications.

 

Attendance was good for the workshops and show and the participants commented favorably.  If you missed this event keep in mind that we customarily bring in a guest artist at the end of each July for a dance workshop and dinner show.

 

Other belly dance activities at DANCER include our regular classes, studio events, and our student recital.  We carry an extensive inventory of Belly Dance related costumes, music, and videos.
